Hope everyone has had/is having a lovely Easter? Ours has been a bit of a washout due to rain. Had things planned outdoors which just haven’t happened so as a result we’re all feeling a bit in the doldrums. We’re going out in a minute, rain or not!
In terms of meal planning, this weekend I got really organised and scheduled a grocery delivery for Friday night. When a bank holiday comes around I always get completely screwed up but not this time! Saturday night we had the Figaro Fries I had planned (blog post coming soon…) and yesterday was a roast dinner. I was feeling too tight to pay for lamb so we had chicken, and delicious it was too. As for the rest of the week, I have to admit, there’s not a lot of planning done so far but that’s because I appear to be eating out a lot this week. Whoops.
This is how it shapes up…
Sausage, beans and mash
Eating out at Mexican restaurant
Tea after work at Harvester before going to see Titanic 3D
Dinner at TGI’s after trip to the cinema with the children & friends
Some form of Friday Night Food (nachos/fries/loaded potato, not entirely sure yet!)
So not really a lot of effort on my part!
Let’s see if you are faring any better – the Linky is down below so getting linking up your blog posts now!
Thanks to everyone who joins in! I haven’t commented on last weeks posts yet, was playing email catch-up last night but will do soon. Don’t forget to keep spreading the word about #mealplanningmonday
