Meal Planning Monday (6th October 2014)

Good morning (okay, it’s afternoon but let it go…). Bit late today, I’ve been busy trying to find a cocktail dress. As you do. Needless to say I came back empty handed. The shops are useless at the moment, it’s all coats and jumpers. I think I’m just a bit too early for all the nice dresses but I’m in a quandary as I need one this week!

This week’s meal planning is a bit slapdash. We’re super busy. Considering neither of us have a job at the moment I’m sure we shouldn’t be as busy as we are but there’s a whole lot of networking and schmoozing going on right about now.  If you didn’t see on Twitter, I had the job interview from hell last week. Oh my life. Hardest thing I’ve ever done. I completely muffed it but considering I was one of 9/10 interviewees out of well over hundred applicants and it’s a huge huge company, I feel proud of myself for jumping through the first three hoops to get to interview, even if it is a big fat no! Back to the job search this week.

Meal plans for this week look like this;

Spaghetti bolognese
Chilli con carne & rice
Chicken balti
Steak & mushroom pie
Pizza

All very easy but this week ease is the name of the game!

  1. Good luck with the job hunting, I know how soul destroying it can be! I’ve changed jobs within my company and I had to re-interview despite doing it since June! Still nerve wracking, I got it but now going through occ health loops…so much fun! If only we could be paid to test wine and eat cake all day?

    Re the dress – try a local charity shop perhaps? Would say eBay but sounds like you need it sooner! If you are a size 12 and live near Surrey you are welcome to borrow one of mine!

    xx
