Awww the last Meal Planning Monday of 2014 and what a year it has been. I feel I’ve slipped a little this year in terms of blogging and keeping up to date with everything but never fear, I have a renewed focus for 2015. I’m ready to attack!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and got everything you wished for? Ours was a nice, quiet one which is exactly what I like. Lots of food, wine and playing with toys! I am, however, about sick to the back teeth of turkey sarnies! Luckily, as mentioned last week, I have meal planned for the coming weeks in advance so for once I am more than ready!
Here’s our plan this week;
Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas
Ha, bit of a cheat week really! Spag bol is at the children’s request, enchiladas at Mr M’s request. We have friends coming for NYE and that will be cocktails, games and party nibbles. New Years Day is always always a beef wellington, it’s tradition and on Friday night I will be enjoying my first and last takeaway of January 2015. We are on a strict budget AND diet in the new year! Saturday will be whatever is in the freezer – probably more party food and Sunday we are celebrating two birthdays with a meal out at Jamie’s Italian!
Must say, it feels very good to have it all planned out!
