Meal Planning Monday (29th June 2015)

Hi everyone!

Sorry I missed last week’s Meal Planning Monday. I’d had a very busy weekend in Blackpool which included my son picking up a horrible sickness bug. He then spent Monday malingering on the sofa, and my daughter went away on a school residential trip. Coupled with working all week (which is hectic at the mo) meal planning and everything else just kind of went out of the window. It was one of those weeks.

I’ve now got myself organised, cleaned and tidied my house, caught up on some blogging and emptied all my email inboxes. I’m feeling ready to start the week!

My meal plan for this week looks like this

Sweet potato, spring onion & feta salad
Taco Tuesday (again!)
New potato, bacon & blue cheese salad
Halloumi salad with houmous dressing and pitta crisps
Spaghetti bolognese
Sweet’n’sour chicken and rice

I’m clearly feeling very salad-y this week!

  2. Sometimes we have to live ‘life’ and blogging just has to wait, family is a million times more important, so absolutely no need to apologise! I did miss the linky though 😀 this is one of my faves, the foodie crowd are great and I love all the inspiration.
    Your halloumi salad sounds just the kind of meal I’m loving at the moment, I think something similar will be on my plan next week for #meatfreemonday. Have fun in the sun this week anyways 🙂

  3. Your meals sound fab for this week, especially the new potato bacon and blue cheese salad. I must give that a try (although I’m not sure if hubby would like it, he seems to have a phobia of salad haha).
