Meal Planning Monday (21st September 2015)

Good morning!

Feeling very proud of myself because I not only did a meal plan way in advance this week and I even went and did a flipping online grocery order and got the whole shebang delivered on Saturday. GO ME.

I am a complete Morrisons convert these days. I used to be all about Waitrose, it’s my nearest supermarket but I popped into a Morrisons one day when coming home from somewhere else and was suitably impressed. There isn’t one really conveniently nearby so I’ve taken to doing online orders and so far my experiences have been fab. Amazingly friendly drivers, always turn up on time (quite often early but they call me beforehand to check it’s okay to deliver) and when I’ve been late back they’ve sat and waited for me AND not ONCE has their been a substitute. Take note Tescos!  Love them so much I am considering signing up for a delivery pass.

Here’s my plan!

Spaghetti Bolognese
Slow-cooked Sweet Chilli Sesame Chicken & Rice
Salisbury Steak Meatballs and Mash
Southern Fried Chicken Wraps
Homemade Pizza
Steak and Blue Cheese Ciabattas

My 8yr old is making the spag bol as part of his Home Help badge for cubs. He has to prepare a meal, serve it and clean up afterwards – with a little supervision!
